During this course, you will be actively involved in environmental topics and journalism to understand the role of environmental journalism in communicating about the environment. You will learn to identify and verify scientific sources, use tools for fact-checking, identify elements of newsworthiness to attract audiences and write news for social media and journalism stories for the web about environmental topics. Also, you will understand the concept of explanatory journalism and solutions journalism as specific journalistic forms.
