Dr. Sci. Belma Buljubašić was born in Sarajevo. She finished elementary school and the First Gymnasium in Sarajevo. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at the Department of Journalism in 2005.
She received her master’s degree in June 2010.
She submitted her doctoral dissertation entitled Instrumentalization of Mass Media in the Function of Nationalistic Destruction of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian Communications Community in 2011 at the Department of Journalism/Communicationand defended it in March 2015.
She was elected Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication/Journalism in 2015, and Associate Professor in 2019.
At the bachelor’s degree studies, she teaches the following subjects: Mass Media Marketing, Radio Journalism and Publicist Journalism, and at the master’s degree studies she teaches Propaganda Communication.
She was hired as a lecturer in the fourth year of study at the Academy of Fine Arts at the Department of Graphic Design for the subjects Forms of Propaganda Action
She is the author of more than thirty scientific and professional papers and reviews. She has participated in dozens of international, regional and local conferences, round tables, workshops, seminars.
She is a doctoral student at the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
She is a member of the editorial board of the regional online magazine Novi plamen. She is the author for the online portal of Sarajevo Mediacentar -www.media.ba.
She is editor of scientific journal Social studies.
