How to engage community in environmental decision-making?

The voices of all people should be heard, not only of the powerful and rich. Community engagement ensures that the local inhabitants are empowered and can really influence their community. If you prove to the people that their work matters, then you will see an increase in engagement, says Guri Bugge, a climate coordinator at the Viken County in Norway, in the Environmental Communication Podcast.
