Pedja Ašanin Gole is a political scientist with more than 30 years of work experience as a Strategic Communications Consultant and Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications in the public and private sectors in Slovenia and abroad. He has been elected as a Senior Lecturer and teaches at Ljubljana School of Business (Slovenia) and at Institute of Communication Studies Skopje (Macedonia) as a Visitor Lecturer. In public relations, he specializes in public sector communication, crisis communication, issue management, and strategic communications planning.
Ašanin Gole is the author of more than 150 bibliographic records – scientific and professional articles, chapters in scientific and professional monographs, and the editor and co-author of more than twenty monographs. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of Slovenia (PRSS), which he chaired, the International Association of Business Communications (IABC), The European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA), and he is an honorary member of the Society for Public Relations of Serbia. He co-founded the Slovenian Public Relations Conference, where he was program director for fifteen years, and the Proactive regional conference on strategic communication, which is held annually in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
